Question Should I call the Doctor? or Wait?

My doctor prescribed Actos to regulate my periods, I have been on it a week tomorrow. I seem to be doing great on it, No SIDE EFFECTS!!! YAY But my last period was Oct 26-29 and I have taken 2 preggy tests, the last one, a week ago, and they were all neggy? Should I call and ask the doctor for Provera? or wait and see? My hubby says, maybe your preggy, and ovulated late, But I dont feel Pregnant. So I guess I need some advice people that have been where I am, and my Hubby just doesnt understand. Thanks!

If your doctor prescribed Actos for irregular cycles, then I'm guessing that the October 26th cycle was an irregularly spaced one? It takes Actos more than a week to get you regulated. I'd give that about a month or two. It worked fast for me, but I do think it took a month or so.

Actos has not been proven to be safe for a baby, so to be on the safe side, you might want to ask your doctor for a blood test to see if you are pregnant. Ask for a blood test. The tests you take at home usually err on the side of false positive rather than false negative, or so I was told by my doctor.

It's all about your comfort level I guess.

Talking Im going to Call and ask for a Blood test.. Just to be safe.

I thought about asking for provera to start my period but im going to let it happen naturally. I just want to make sure to easy my mind that I am not preggy. I think if my stress level went down alot of things in my life would perk up! lol
Thanks for the input though! I go back to the dr. in Feb. to start clomid. I will wait until hopefully im having a regular cycle by then!
