I was diagnosed 2 days back by the endocrinologist. Should I see a RE or is it ok to stick to the same doc. Though NTTC, but wouldn't an RE be a much better choice than a regular one?
Any suggestions are most welcome.

I personally see an RE and I'm not TTC. My RE has a lot of experience treating PCOS is is very PCOS friendly (some doctors aren't so much).
I think if you're comfortable with your Endo and you think you're getting all the right treatments for you, you should be fine staying with your Endo. If you're not I suggest you finding a new doc, and in that instance, I'd recommend an RE.
Again welcome!!

Thanks for the Tunes Amshum.
I am not really confident about my endo since he specialises in Metabolism and diabetes. He did start me on the right treatment for PCOS.... but it is not his speciality and I really doubt how many patients he really sees with PCOS.

...to help cysters find a good PCOS friendly doc. I'm sure if you look around a bit in there, you'll find a thread for at least one in Dallas.

Hi,
I am probably in the minority, but I still see my family doctor! He diagnosed me after I had seen an endo and a gyn, and all they did was tell me to lose weight! Everyone is different, though. My sister in law started with a family doc and sees a RE because of infertility. I have a friend who sees a gyn and likes her just fine. My family doc put me on met and I was able to conceive on that, so I saw no reason to go to another doc!
I would say that if you find a doctor who is kind, knows about PCOS, and listens to you, then stick with them!
