Should I push my sister to see a doctor?

I was told I have PCOS last month. Since finding out I've tried to find out everything I can about it. After finding out that there may be a genetic link to PCOS I told my sister that she might want to get some blood work done at her next GYN appointment because she has many of the same symptoms that I have. She told me that she would rather not know and doesn't plan to bring it up with her doctor. She is overweight and has struggled with her weight most of her life. Her hair is very fine and thinning and she has increased body hair . In spite of these problems, she still has a good self image. She accepts her flaws and pretty much says to hell with the people who don't like it. I love that about her, but I'm afraid of what damage this may do to her body. I know I can't control other people, but I wish I could get her to talk to her doctor about it. Any ideas for how to convince her to see a doctor?

I don't think you can force your sister to see a Dr, but maybe you can be there for her when she decides she wants to talk about things and make the information you are soaking up readily available to her?
