I have a question. This month I started my period between the 2nd and 3rd week of my active pills. It lasted about 8 days and I have finally quit bleeding. Should I skip my inactive pills (which I will start on Monday) and start a new pack on Monday and maybe it will even itself out and I will start my period at the right time next month? It doesn't make sense to take the inactive pills when I have already had a period and it was a period not just spotting and stuff. TIA for any advice!

Something similar happened to me when I was taking Yaz. My doctor had me stop the active pills when I started bleeding and said to take the inactive pills before starting a new pack. When something similar happened the second month on Yaz, I was switched back to Yasmin.

Also, sometimes there's spotting when you start a new pill. Sometimes doctors suggest that you still follow the pack accordingly at least for 2 or 3 months. I would definitely contact your doctor to find out what you should do.
