I started on glucophage XR a few months back... I have now worked my way up to 1500mg a day... when I first started talking it the 500 was okay and so was the 1000, but as soon as I started talking the 1500 I dont know what my body is going to do. Sometimes I have side effects and other I dont. What should I do should I call the doctor and tell him I want to kind of hang around the 1500mg instead of 2000mg since I should have already of upped my dose? Or should I up it to 2000mg and see how I do?

One interesting thing my doc said to me last time I saw her was that the "right dose is the one that regulates your cycle." So--how's your cycle doing? I'm at 1500 mg a day of metformin, and I'm cycling every 28 days. It's amazing.
