Default Should I try vitex?

I haven't gotten my period in 4-5 months now...in that time other symptoms have also worsened or developed, i.e. acne, hair-growth, weight gain, lack of energy, mood, headaches, cramps,...you get the picture, I'm sure. I have made changes in diet and exercise and continue to work on that. I've also started a good multivitamin, saw palmetto, evening primrose oil, and most recently maca. I've been trying so hard to get things under control and balanced. I really want to go the natural route...but I'm starting to feel like I'm throwing away money at the health food store. I'm not necessarily trying to get pregnant right now but I want to know that I could if I wanted to. I want to get these damn hormones balanced, I want a regular cycle and relief from all these other symptoms. Should I give vitex a shot?

I'm just trying my first month of vitex. And it seems to be going fine. I started taking it after not gettin af on time. A few days after taking it AF showed up. Vitex works differently on different women. Some women have to take it for a few months before it helps. I would say search around and figure out what you think is best for you. I tried vitex after hearing great things about it. So
