Question Should I wait to get diagnose?

I have Aetna/Chickering student health insurance and my policy ends August 16. After that I will have to sign up for Medicaid. I was wondering whether I should schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist to see whether I can be diagnose for PCOS or should I wait until my current insurance finishes so that I can get Medicaid?

that's a complicated question, which is why no responses, I'm sure.

Personally, I know nothing about Medicaid...(sorry)
