Default Should I be worried

Hi cysters

My consultant told me at our last meeting (October) that she wanted me to have another scan and see her in four months.

I've got my scan appointment through for 20 November. I know they're keeping an eye on it, but I only had my first scan at the beginning of September, surely this is a little quick off the mark?

Hi Eva

I had a scan at the beginning of September, they found a cyst 4cm in size.

I've been back to see my consultant and she told me that they wanted to keep an eye on it, and would see me in 4 months time where I would have a scan too.

I've got an appointment through for 20 November, so as you can imagine, I'm a little concerned.

At my last consultation, they decided to take some extra blood and test for cancer, and I'm really worried because of the speed of the new consultation.

Hi Steffi,

I went for a scan in September and I have a cyst on one of my ovaries that is actually bigger than that ovary which has shrunk to being not productive at all. I was told to have another test done in two months to see where it is.

One thing a friend told me was that she thought that it must not be an urgent concern if they are giving you that time to get a second check on it. So I am trying to go with "if it was a serious issue, my doctor wouldn't let me just check up on it in a couple of months."

I have my scan at the end of November and I wish you luck.

Sheri

My worry comes from having been told that I would have an appointment scheduled for 4 months time, and then getting an appointment for less than 4 weeks after the date of my consultation.

Maybe, I'm not understanding all this very well.
