    Default PCOS Bracelets

    Hi
I just wanted to let you all know that there are PCOS bracelets on EBAY if anyone is looking for them. (1 rubber, 1 metal)
Just go to the BUY box and type in Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrom and they will pop up.

    Just a little FYI!

I checked on Ebay and couldn't find any. On that note though, I'd be concerned about where the proceeds go.

It's great to wear a bracelet, but if the proceeds don't go to a nonprofit which supports women with PCOS and PCOS research or even SC which helps cysters, I don't see the point of purchasing and wearing one ...

just search ebay for ovarian or ovarian teal and you will see them all.]

    and....

after about an hour and a half of research... we've come down to the ones on ebay go to nothing but the peopel's pocket. there is one available at http://www.sandyovarian.org/ that says "OverCome". That one puts 100% into the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation. Nothing esle is linked to an actual Ovarian cancer or PCOS charity (not that the charity is aware of at least - saw one claimin got give money to Gildas but Gildas mentions nothing of the sort).

All in all... still nothing worthy of buying.

Is the color for PCOS awareness blue? I found a blue ribbon Italian charm on eBay. Click Here Unfortunately, they don't list PCOS as one of the causes, etc. represented by a blue ribbon. All I ever see are pink ones, so I don't know. I would love to find one of those rubber awareness bracelets specifically for PCOS. Maybe someone can make them?

Edited to say I just found this one also, which does mention PCOS linky

    hI everyone:
I am personally selling 2 of my PCOS bracelets on ebay.

Make sure you are typing in POLY CYSTIC OVARIAN SYNDROM.

I know they are there. I just checked.

And Yes, teal blue is for PCOS.

Also, the reason that nobody list PCOS under the teal blue is because hardly anyone knows about it.

    Good luck!

    Hi:

I am NOT REALLY selling them. I had gotten 3 on ebay and that's all.

Here is my Cuff bracelet. Someone already emailed me about the rubber one.

Let me know if there are anymore questions.

Ok i am confused. i know there are many different "types" of bracelets out there for sale and they all have specific meanings. But I wasnt aware that there was one particular one out there just for PCOS. I know for sure that I want one if there is. I think its great that there can be a way to make more people aware of this illness. But is the one for ovarian cancer and the one for pcos one-and-the-same or are there 2 different ones?? Please let me know where I can buy one, I would love to have one.

Cysters: PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE A PCOS BRACELET UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR CERTAIN THAT THE PROCEEDS ACTUALLY GO TO BENEFIT PCOS!

If you find a PCOS bracelet where the proceeds actually go to benefit PCOS, please let the rest of us know.

SoulCysters has wonderful things for sale and the proceeds benefits SoulCysters.

PCOSupport.org (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrom Association) also has some jewelry for sale and the proceeds actually benefit the nonprofit organization.

Here is a site that gives a portion of the proceeds to PCOS research. I haven't bought one but I thought they were pretty and for a good cause...
