    Default 16 dpo---no AF, but cramping--help??

Now 18 dpo--still no af!! Call me crazy, but I have refused to buy a hpt because it would be about the 100th time and I don't EVER want to see another BFN again as long as I live--here is my dilemma:

I have been tracking my cycles, which can be vary by as much as 5 days, for 3 years. I have NEVER had less than or more than a 14 day leuteal phase.
2 weeks from O, which I have been wrong on once in 3 years, AF shows. I usually O on day 19. This month, we bd'd on day 15 and day 18, I O'd like clockwork on 19 (no opk--symptoms are the same each time, I feel the pinching, and then the next day the EWCM is gone and the bb's are sore. Always.) Meanwhile, I am now on day 35--AF was due on Sunday pm or Monday am--so 16 dpo. I have been cramping for 4 days--wicked PMS--the sorest bb's ever. I have some kind of discharge--just watery, but I am stunned each time I go potty there's nothing on the TP. It would sound like a pg to me--except why does it feel then like AF is coming ANY second? THoughts??

    Default Did you ovulate??

That's why I am thrown off---I KNOW I did ovulate, and I have never gone more than 14 days after without AF....I should test, but I told myself I am waiting till Friday!

I just wanted to let you know that I've been preg 4 times, and each time I could have sworn AF was coming. The cramps were pretty bad. They would wake me up at night. Going past your usual luteal phase is a pretty good sign. I would test!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info! I think I will go buy a test later today--as I am still not bleeding and the cramps are actually easing up a bit. I am stunned with myself for waiting this long--I have never not tested when I thought there was ANY chance--but after all the BFN's I decided to wait it out---wouldn't it be ironic if after the hundreds of times I didn't wait, the one time I did was IT????? That would be me.

I can't believe you haven't tested yet lol. AF type cramps are a classic PG sign. Good luck and please update when you test.

I did not want to see another BFN either, so I vowed to stop testing before AF was due. I also never go past 14 LP, I know when I o'ed. 15DPO BFP. I so hope this is it 4 you. I still have all signs AF is coming any day. Sore lower back, cramps.

Did you test yet??? I had cramping from 11dpo until I got my +beta at 14dpo with my DS. I was so sure AF was on her way, but usually when I have cramps, she is *right* there, so I can tell you that cramps with no af are most definitely a pg sign!! Good luck and babydust!

im so glad I found this thread... i'm in the same boat... AF is 3-8 days late depending on cycle length, it's been weird for months now but never ever MISSED a period. We've been ttc too and i feel so pregos but not sure if im tricking myself. I've taken hpt all neg. Called dr, she said to wait till mon then she'll do a blood test.

I've been feeling like AF was coming for a wk or so and the last three days i've really felt sick to my stomach and cramping. but all neg tests... if i didn't ovulate are these signs normal??? to feel like your period is coming? and if im pregnant, shouldn't a test have shown a postive by now??

ty in advance, newly dx and so scared.

I hope you got that test! A 16 day luteal phase is not very common (without pregnancy), and the experts say...an 18 day luteal phase almost always means pregnancy, so please test test test!

Some of my first pregnancy signs were AF-like cramping and very sore boobs. And I'm with dynamicdoula, I wish you had a chart for me to check out!

Best of luck, and lots of babydust!!

    Exclamation

All night last night, I was cramping and peeing--I think I pee'd 7 times, and the cramps woke me up--I was CONVINCED af was here--still no blood as of 11:23am EST. I am going to get a 2 pack of tests and hold the pee as long as I can--so far about an hour tops, but I will push it! I will test this afternoon, if BFN re-test in the AM if AF isn't here. I was just so nervous that with the impending period feelings it was a chemical pg---I KNOW something has happened. I do NOT go past 14dpo---I have had cycles from 33-62 days long, but have ALWAYS known when AF was due because I feel the O without fail. I am sensitive that way. My temps are all over, so I never chart--sorry!!! Update you when I know anything either way--thanks for caring!
