Default anyone used Prolief from Arbonne?

Hello! I am 35 and been TTC for 7 years now. I'm new to this site but a long time sister with PCOS. I have been through it all as far as medical procedures to TTC but nothing has helped. After seeing two different specialists and having my ovaries drilled, I got fed up and stopped everything, including metformin (BIG MISTAKE!). I hardly ever have my period so I started using the natural balancing cream; Prolief from Arbonne and it does work. I can manipulate my body into having periods by using the product but I don't know if it makes me ovulate. Has anyone been successfull at pregnancy by using this? What about the fertility blend herbs? I just purchased 3 months worth but haven't started. According to the website, Fertillity Blend has a great success rate but I have not personally known anyone to get pregnant using it.
I started back on the metformin back in May because when I stopped taking it, I started growing dark facial hair and it was very noticable. It was so embarrassing. Now being back on the metformin, the hair is getting very light and more fine (Thank the Lord!) so I feel more like a woman again.
Anyway, please let me know if anyone has had success with the two products I mentioned.
Good luck to all of my soulcysters!
    Cindy

YES I am on that cream!! AND yes it does work!!!! Provera did nothing for me and I was on the highest dosage. I started takingit without knowing the process or directions so after like 11 days I stopped and the next day I got my cycle. It only lasted 5 days, 4 heavy and 1 light. LIKE almost perfect ya know. I don't know how you tell that you ovulated. But I am on CD 18 right now. Aren't you suppose to ovulate on the 14th day after the first day of your period? Or something like that? I am so in the dark and I am 37 just wanted to mention that!!!

    Cindy,
I also use Arbonne Balancing Cream. I'm on cycle two of the NPC shutdown program. Check out the thread on NPC shutdown buddies if you'd like more info. I'm also taking Vitex 2X a day, prenatal vitamins, Iadoral (an iodine supplement for healthy thyroid function), and fish oil capsules. DH and I have been trying to conceive for 18 months, and have never tried medical intervention. We're trying the natural route first.
    Good luck to you!

    Default Using Prolief

Hi, I'm 30 & have never had a normal period. I couldn't get pregnant for years & my doctor put me on Clomid for 6 months, it work & I had my son. That was 3 years ago, now we were trying again & this time the Clomid did not work. I have heard many great stories about the Arbonne Prolief so I thought I would try it before taking more drastic measures. I used it last month for 2 weeks & my period came in 28 days for the first time. Usually they were 32-40 days, I never really new when it would come. Hopefully I it will continue to work & I can get pregnant on my own like the stories I read. If nothing else at least it is regulating my period. I also was breaking out really bad under my chin on my neck & that is gone. It is because my hormones were out of whack. We will see.

    Cindy,
I had huge success with Prolief in combination with Vitex, and never had to use Clomid or any other medications to become pregnant. I used Prolief for days 5-28 of my cycle until my cycles regulated. I took Vitex 2x a day every day of my cycle. The first month my cycle regulated the herbalist I work with instructed me to use the Prolief on days 14-28 of my cycle to induce ovulation. I ovulated and became pregnant that first cycle I used the Prolief on days 14-28. My son is now a happy, healthy 9 week old! Best of luck.

I have a friend who has been married for 12 years. She has pcos and was told she wouldn't be able to have kids. She hadn't even finished 1 bottle of the Arbonne Prolief and she found out she was pregnant. She has a friend who started on Prolief and after one month was pregnant. So for some women it does work. I am almost 40 and wanted to use it to regulate my hormones some. I have been off bc pills for over 2 years now and have had regular periods. from age 19-21 I had nothing. I noticed I was getting pms like though (grouchy, craving chocolate and salty foods) and never had that. So I have been on it for 4 days now. I am getting married later this year. I am not using it for pregnancy. If it happens it is a bonus as I do have an almost 16 year old son and miscarried in 05. When I am under a certain weight I can feel myself ovulate. Not painful. I also don't get cramps when I have my period except for 3 times and my doc thinks it was miscarriages..only one confirmed though. I hope that others get help with this product. I will add to this in a few months when I know for sure how its working for me.

I too starting up with Prolief, I stopped because I was ok. dumb me, I had to restart it again. I had brought it up to gynecologist and she wanted to
prescribe vivelle patches. I researched this medicine and was discouraged to take it for the side effects. Went to my endocrinologist and she totally said Prolief is
so much better, so I am pleased so far with the results!
