    Question Pulsing Uterus???

Hi - I'm hoping someone can tell me they've felt this before...

For the last week, I've had what I can only describe as 'pulsing' in my uterus (or where I imagine my uterus to be)... It's a 'thumping' sensation, like when your eye pulses sometimes for no explainable reason... it's erratic and comes and goes with no correlation to anything I can pin point...

    Anyone else felt this?

I googled it but came up with a million different things... none of which appeared reputable... Hoping my cysters can help

YES!! I've googled it too but came up with nothing. It's a sort of twitching/pulsing sensation, very strange. I assumed it was my cervix opening and closing/going crazy. I've been getting it on and off for the past couple of months and it's so annoying.

    Thank you! it IS annoying!!

I googled it too and got a bunch of 'early pgcy' signs but that can't be the case with me so it has to be something else...

Thanks for the reply - GL w/ that extravaganza

I have also had this happen recently, not a clue what causes it though. So I'm marking my spot to see what others have to say about it!

I have that too! I wonder if it has something to do with Clomid? About CD 15 I started having them and I was so hopeful it was super early preggo symptoms (assuming I O'd on CD 14) but then I O'd on CD 26. So who knows? I've still had them since I O'd as well.

Personally, for me I think it's because my cycle was pretty much nonexistent for so long (like 15 months) that my uterus is getting used to working again!

I am wondering if that goes for me too, Jenny. My last cycle was almost a year long. Now I'm taking so many supplements to try and regulate myself, that it may just be a sign of a working uterus? I don't know about the Clomid though. I took Soy (the "natural" Clomid) on CD5-9 but I still haven't O'd (that I'm aware of) and it's CD36 for me.

Good thought Jenny - as you can see I'm going on 2 months... maybe this means AF is arriving soon??

I've had super long cycles before though (more than 100 days) and I've never had this before...

I'll keep you posted... glad to see I'm not the only one!

I've had this for years. When I was first Married and we were TTC I thought I was PG and didn't know it. It felt like what I assumed would be a baby rolling around. Needless to say very disappointing. After that I just figured my uterus is having spasms or twitching like when your leg twitches or your eye does. It happens to me every month. but it's not just during any certain time like during O or anything.

Maybe for me it's something common. It doesn't seem to be an all the time thing with everyone else who posted on the thread. Keeping fingers crossed for you that it's not something you have to deal with all the time. Because I understand LOL

Like we don't have enough to deal with lets throw in a uterus that has a mind of it's own. haha

    LOL. That's pretty funny.

I'm so glad I've found this thread because I've been experiencing this for the last 3 weeks. The only difference is I have had AF cycles for the last 4 months. I am presently on cd35. Now, this pulsing business is driving me crazy as well because I've been feeling it almost everyday. It's not a baby, so what in the world is it???

Hi! Thank goodness we're not alone!!

I took a HPT and it was mostly negative... I say mostly b/c there was a shadow of where the + would be but DH and I decided that it was just a shadow... I figure if I was Pg, I'd be like 8 or 9 weeks and that + would be unmistakeable... I do have a Dr's appt next week so I'll get her to do the bw just to be sure.

The thumping has subsided but not stopped. Thankfully it's not all day any more... just a few times a day for a few minutes at a time.

I've searched and searched the internet... no one seems to be able to pin point exactly what it is!!

I get these pulses often, too. They are weird.
