Hi ladies,
I just had an interesting experience and didn't know if it was associated with my endometriosis.
I never actually bled this past week, but I had all of the symptoms of a period: water weight, facial hair growth slowed, no appetite for a week prior to the onset of pain, and of course cramps with lower back pain.
I often have sharp/stabbing pains in the area of my left ovary, but this was different. It was a completely continuous (non-stabbing/throbbing) pain and not alleviated by heat, Vicodin, changing positions, etc. It was super intense: on my pain scale, a 9 out of 10 (with my scale, 10 is when I go into shock, vomit, then pass out- haven't gotten that bad in about two months, yay!). It also seemed really focused, as if the pain was originating from a spot the size of a half-dollar coin.
But the thing that really freaked me out is that it almost seemed to radiate down the left side of my pelvis and into my leg! My upper leg seemed weak- almost numb- and I had trouble walking on it. I was going to call my doctor if the issue extended into a third day, but it didn't, so I'll just talk to him about it in my next visit.
So anyone else experience this? I have a lot of other medical issues, but none that would cause that kind of discomfort.
Thanks!
