Curved cervix anyone?
I had my first IUI today and found out I have a curved cervix. The procedure was quite painful. He had to put some type of clamp on my cervix, and he still couldn't get the catheter in as far as he wanted. Oddly though, at my HSG a few months ago, it went in just fine, and he didn't notice the curve.
The dr did not give me much information about a curved cervix or if it causes additional problems with fertility. Does anyone know any information about this? Thanks!Me: 30, DH: 32

my dr. said my cervix was tilted down & that it was different but not necessarily a bad thing. but when she did my iui she said it may be kinda painful but it wasnt so bad for me.

I have a tilted cervix as well - not sure which direction. I have asked my GYN and previously, my nurse practitioner (who was basically my GYN) and both have said that it usually does not cause any problems with TTC, carrying the baby or delivery. Not sure if this applies to any way it's tilted or if it's curved, but I would think so.
