Default Any HYPO gals become HYPER thyroid during pregnancy?

    Weirdness.

I was hypothyroid, and treated with synthroid to bring my TSH down to 1-2 for TTC. Since the BFP my TSH has consistently went down which is an oddity, as one would expect it to increase with pregnancy. We've even lowered my doseage to allow my TSH to rise again and it still went down! Latest reading was .19. So once again we've adjusted my dosage....

Anyway, this seems weird to me. Anyone else become hyper during pregnancy? Dr doesn't seem too concerned, said its better to have a low TSH than a high one.....

Also, I've been tested for antibodies: negative. So that's not it. Dr did say maybe I should try taking my prenatal further out from the synthroid, that iron may interfere with absorption. That said I already take it a minimum 3 hours afterwards.

    Thoughts?

Ur not hyper yet. But the same thing happened to me. When I was first diagnosed I was at 11. something. Now it's 0.86! Im a little worried that it might turn into hyper but the doctor didnt seem phased at all. Hmmmm wonder if that has to do with my 0 pound weight gain in my pregnancy.

What # would make one "hyper"? I thought it was under .2?

I'm a thin cyster. So far I'm a pound under my starting weight when I got my BFP. Then again I'm early. I think hyper folks tend to have trouble gaining weight, hypo gains easily.

My Dr didn't seem all that concerned either, I get seen every 4 weeks. We'll keep trying to get it back to 1.
