    Lightbulb Infertility songs....SOO heart wrenching!

For you ladies. All of us that suffer from infertility. There are a couple that are actual songs about infertility, I'd never heard them before. They made me cry!! The others if you listen to the lyrics it's amazing how close they get to our journey through this. Fair warning.....I cried through all of them, just because they are soooo true and surreal.

This one really got me! Oh boy, the water works were really going. She is actually singing about infertility.

Ahh okay I saw some of those and I won't watch any more! They are really sad. A sad reminder of what this is. Beautiful though, and it's okay to have sad moments. I just spent the last 2 cycles feeling sad and I'm not going to do it any more!

..I guess the would be good to share with close family or friends who might not understand what an infertile couple struggles with.

A song that always gets me... "So Hard" but the Dixie Chicks (the sisters both had to use IVF to get pregnant, the song is specifically about the struggle) also, "Lullaby" by them... I am not positive, but I believe it's about their babies after they had them, it always makes me cry.

Painting ~~ Ironically enough that was one I was going to put on there but I figured the 7 that I had already posted was enough to make ppl cry. That is a very good one though!

Stephanie ~~ I like those too. I listened to those when I was searching for infertility songs. I know they actually have one called "Infertility". It was about when they were going through IVF and I cant find it anywhere. There are lots of infertility songs that groups/singers sing but they won't release them because it is "to emotional and personal" to be released to the public or put on the radio. WTH? It's what women are going through! They have no problem talking about booty calls and drugs and killing people but something that actually hurts and touches home to millions of women they won't even talk about. Beats me.

I've never heard of one called Infertility, I may have to look that up huh? And yeah, "too emotional and personal"... otherwise known as "LIFE" I don't understand why it's such a taboo topic, I mean if people can go around singing about having sex, unwanted pregnancies, children, and other stuff, why can't they sing about infertility? It totally doesn't make sense why people are more open to letting songs by about children, people passing away, pregnancy, etc... it's just them saying that one form of "emotional and personal" expression is allowed but another isn't, because society doesn't want to hear about our bleeding hearts, or maybe they just don't think we're a large enough minority to deserve it- I don't know. But I wish it would change.

ttcmyfirst - I love "I would die for that", I listen to it everytime I need a good cry. I think she had amazing strength to come out and talk about something so personal...
The video for Friends brought back a lot of memories. I was DX with PCOS when I was 14, the RE pretty much told me I would never have children. I was/still am a huge fan of Friends and I remember watching those episodes and thinking that would be me one day...Now I think that Dr was a huge jerk for telling a 14 year old girl she would never have children....

painting - I love that song! Thank you so much for posting it! Most of the songs/videos out there about infertility are incredibly sad, its refreshing to hear something with a lil bit of spunk and a lot of hope.

    Thanks Ladies!

I can't believe these songs aren't on the radio. It's unbelievable how alone we truly are in the grand scheme of things. Thank goodness we have each other. Thank you sooooo much gals for the videos.
