    Cool Pregnancy success after HSG?

Hello all, I just had my HSG done yesterday, I was really looking forward to it, but boy did it HURT! I was very uncomfortable, but it went fast. He said my tubes look clear, they will have to review everything though to make sure no abnormalities. I will wait to start harassing them for results until Monday.. But I'm wondering if anyone has any success w/achieving pregnancy after HSG? We've been TTC over 3yrs and NOTHING, I can ovulate and do, especially well w/medication so we are unsure of the problem, hubby's s/a is fine. Anywho.. if anyone has any experiences please give me some insight I'm trying to be hopeful, but not get my hopes too high, as in the past I've been let down. But success stories and things like that, atleast give me something to look fwd to Thanks Ladies

I got my BFP the same cycle that I had my HSG done... but we also had an IUI which I think was the magic ticket for me, but who knows!

I got my BFP 4 months after the HSG! I hear it really opens your tubes up and increases your chances!

Good luck and lots of baby dust your way *~*~*~*~***

I will keep you posted - I had my HSG in March....and for the first time in a verrrrrryyyy long time, I had AF symptoms along with AF, as opposed to just bleeding - I actually had breast pain and cramps like, blech. I never get these symptoms, so I'm taking that as a good sign that maybe the pipes have been cleaned...lol...

Jenney- Oh, yes Please keep me posted. I thought it was interesting that this month I noticed stronger O pains than usual. I wonder if it's b/c of my HSG I had last wed (CD12) I think I ovulated around CD16 or 17. I had alot of pain on that side doing the HSG as though maybe there may have been small blockage, I found out today everything looks 'normal'.. so I'm praying to God we have success very very soon! IDK what my problem is, as I DO and CAN ovulate on my own and never fallen pregnant.. so we will see, i have my fingers crossed.. and for you as well! Good Luck

Thanks Hopeful. I'm actually going in for a follow-up on Thursday with my doctor just to run over a few more things post-HSG. I will definitely wish you good luck following your HSG as well. I think maybe sometimes our tubes just need a jump start! The dye being forced through might pave the way for the eggs to travel a bit easier! I'm a big fan of making up my own scientific theories!...lol....Good luck to you to, and keep me posted!!
