Default 9dpo and faint line on opk.... Mean anything!?

Probably not but thought I'd ask... I'm 11 days past trigger and 9 days past iui/o. No hpts at house only o kit.. Thought I would do that this am.
didnt know if a pos o kit this late meant anythig.
    Thx ladies!!

All you can be sure it means is that there is either LH or hCG in your urine. Since there can be LH in your urine at any time and any point in your cycle, it's not best to go on the advice of an OPK. I say retest with a real HPT.

peeonastick.com has a section about using OPKs as HPTs that you might find interesting: http://www.peeonastick.com/opkhpt.html

The short version is that OPKs can sometimes indicate pregnancy, but you're better off using an HPT.

It could also still be the trigger. Some ladies on here have tested positive after a trigger right up until 14dpo when AF has showed.

I'm still using OPK's daily (except for today) and I'm 11DPO today. Actually as of yesterday I had OPK's so dark that I'd almost consider it (and think I did chart it as) positive! Unfortunately, I've also been doing HPT (the cheapies) as soon as 9DPO and they are all blatent negatives, so I don't really think it works for everyone. I, myself obviously still have a large amount of LH in my system or else my sticks aren't the most accurate (which could be too since I've had a LOT of oddball positives this month and I rarely get a positive ever). So...I'm not putting much stock into LH strips working as HPT's.

Unfortunately it's different for everyone I do know of a few ladies who have had it last as late as 14 dpo ...do you use any $$ tree cheapies or anything to test it out? That's really the only way to know how it works for you. Triggers are a wily beast when it comes to testing..

It's so hard to say - I think what alot of the others ladies have said is the best advice- test with a FRER or a $$ store test tomorrow or Sunday and see what happens.. see if there is a line and see if it gets darker. If AF doesn't show then go for a beta next week and see what happens... just hard to tell right now - it could be so many things

The fact that you had a faint line probably doesn't mean anything, except that it detected some LH which we always have in our bodies. It's not positive. It would have to be positive (with the test line as dark or darker than the control line) for it to indicate a possible pregnancy. Sorry. I was wondering the same thing yesterday and read all kinds of stuff on the internet. As someone else mentioned peeonastick.com has some good info on it.
