Exclamation Worried! BFP 12dpo and now spotting!

I have never gotten a BFP before! Can u pregnant cysters tell me if this has happened to u!

On 12dpo I got a BFP in the evening, super faint. On 13 and 14dpo (today) I still get faint BFPs (multiple brand hpts). Yesterday night I noticed brown cm, and still today. Is it normal for me to be spotting now or am I having a chemical pregnancy?

My RE said it can go either way and has started me on vaginal suppositories of Prometrium. I did a beta today but won't get my results until tomorrow since today is Sunday.

Have any of you experienced something like this and are still pregnant?

    Any advice/support/success stories welcomed!

Could be just leftover implantation bleeding. The fact that its brown is good! Congrats!

Could very well be completely normal! I spotted off & on from week 5 until 9 weeks w/mild cramping. Most of the CM was brown but I did have 1 day of bright red (freaked me out & went into the Drs). I really hope this lasts for you, I know what it's like to never see it before & see one & worry about everything. Just try to keep calm, I know it's hard but try to keep your thoughts positive.

Good luck & keep us updated!

I also spotted early in my pregnancy. It's very normal as the uterus grows and stretches.

    Hi Pilar!

I started having cramps about 7 or 8 dpo. At 13dpo I saw a little bit of pink when I wiped after using the bathroom. I put a pantyliner on and a few hours later I saw dark brown spotting on it. It freaked me out! My dh looked it up and said I might be pregnant. I took an hpt later that night and it was positive. I was scared to death because the brown cm continued until the next day. In fact, I still have cramps- over a week later.

I've had 3 betas done and my numbers rose appropriately so my ultrasound is next Tuesday. I'll be 7 weeks along that day. It's been hard to let go of all of my irrational fears, but I really do feel so much better thinking about the future and how happy we'll be once the baby's here.

I havbent posted on the bump yet! But my sn is the same as here, Missbebe12.

ladies my beta was just 10, how is that possible if I got a postive digital that same afternoon? Is it possible that my numbers rose that much in less than one day... or could the test been misleading? I am so confused, sad, and scared.

I think I posted on your other thread as well. To me, it does sound like a chemical pregnancy. If your hpts are continuing to be faint and your beta came back at 10, that sounds exactly like what happened to me with my 1st chemical pregnancy. I got a + at 10dpo that really never got much darker. By the time I got in for a beta at 16dpo (it was a holiday weekend) it came back at 10 and I m/c 2 days later

The important thing will be whether your beta doubles once you get your 2nd results. You can't judge entirely based on the darkness of hpts, but the combination of faint hpts, a low beta, and spotting makes me think that it's chemical. (((hugs))) Hang in there..
