Default Sibling names that go with Chloe

We just found out Chloe is going to have a little sister.

Unfortunately, with another girl, we'll agonize horribly over the name. So far we've tossed around Sophia, Maia, Carina, Isobel, Keira, Morgan, Avery and Hannah.

Got anymore to add? Something you like? Looking for suggestions here.

I like Chloe and Sophia (Sophie) or Chloe and Morgan or Chloe Avery.
I guess Zoe would be a bit much, but it rhymes!

So ... what do you mean by "go with?" Actually matchy-matchy or just doesn't sound awful?

When it was JUST my son and I thought I would have JUST one more kid I had the perfect girl name picked out. Sounded so cute with his name. But then I got preg with TWO girls and had to either have two kids who sounded great together and one outcast, or scramble for a 3rd name that went and be one of THOSE people (for some reason it bugs me when people have 3+ kids and the names all go somehow...) So we just picked names we liked, and didn't pay attention to how they went together. And in the end they all sound fine.

Think of it this way - your kid's name is not likely to go with a friend's name later in life, or a spouses name... there's no reason it has to (or even should) go with a siblings name. Just pick a name you like. :-)

Congrats on another girl!!! We are in the same boat, I have NO idea what girl name to give this baby, that sounds "good" with Rowan, but isn't matchy. DH, myself and Rowan all have names that end with an N, so we have been like...do we do that again, or do we ignore it and give this baby a name that is different. So hard!!!

I do like Chloe and Sophia, or Chloe and Hannah.

I like Hannah, Avery, and Morgan. I actually love the name Morgan but it's the name of a new huge development structure near my house called Morgan Heights/Morgan Crossing, so I think that name is out just for that reason. How do you feel about Paige? I think Chloe and Paige sound quite nice together.

Do you know about Babycenter sibling name finder? Here's the link for siblings for Chloe. http://www.babycenter.com/page/babyN...meType=sibling
It's kind of a neat tool.

That name finder is really cool.

I think I'm mostly looking for something that is easy to say together. So, when I call both of them it's not a tongue twister to do so, lol. I think I'm somewhat leaning toward Sophia but I worry about the popularity of the name. I always hated when another girl in my class had the same name as me!

Yeah, we are trying to stay away from names that end with a long 'e' noise because it gets matchy-matchy.

My cousin has a little girl named Chloe, but she had 2 boys (Preston and Micah). I could ask what she had picked out as girl names had the boys been girls.

We got lucky with our boys. We fell in love with the name Reed and we get complimented all the time on how well the names go together. (LOL, I just looked at the link for sibling names and Miles is one of the names listed as a good sibling name for Reed )

I like the name Maia. One of my closest friends just had a baby girl about 6 months ago and her name is Maia. But looking at the list that was on the babycenter link, I like Abigail and Paige.

Well, I'd go with Maya / Maia ... but I'm prett biased since my 3-year-old daughter is named Maya and our newborn (10 -day-old) daughter is Chloe, lol!

I like Sophia- But my DD's name is Zoey Sophia so I think it sounds pretty good.

I love the name Brenna- That was the girl name we had picked out when I was pg with DS. But when I was pg with DD it just didn't feel like her name. So we went another direction.

I love Sophia and Chloe. Look on the social security website for the popularity in your state. I know Sophia is popular but where I live its only number 30 so not to bad while Chloe is number 9. I think it depends on where you live too
