Default is watery cervical mucos a sign of impending ovulation??

hey ladies I was just wondering as you get closer to ovulating does your cm get watery ?? I woke up extremely wet this morning, and have been the remainder of the day. ALSO my opk are extremely close to the same color as the control line, but it is still negative.. anyone never get a positive BUT still ovulate?? I am feeling ALOT of activity in my ovary .. it is very frustrating not knowing what is going on with my body

Definately a sign of ovulation! Especially since you can feel sensation from your ovary, I'd say it's time to get busy . In regards to the OPK's, are you taking them once a day or a couple of times a day? It is possible to miss the surge if you tend to have a quicker surge. Sometimes for me, the best I got on an OPK was an almost-postive but I have been charting and all other signs of O lined up including that tell-tale pain in my ovary and the temp shift the next day. Good luck!

Temping is really the only reliable way to find out if you did indeed O (other than P4 blood test), I don't trust OPKs or any other signs. Keep BDing regularly until you see your temps go up for 3 days straight!

if its just watery i would say no, but if its accompanied with clear stretchy mucous, almost like clear hand soap, definite yes! the same thing happened to me last month, i thought it was O time had very wet watery discharge but my opk's were negitive, then changed to creamy discharge, then it changed to watery clear stretchy mucous. my opk's were BFP, the test line was dark purple and control line was light pink, i ended up Oing super late on CD 26.

Watery CM is actually considered just as fertile as Egg White CM. I only got watery CM - never EW around O time until I started on injectable meds. That was my first EWCM month- ever. Unfortunately CM alone is not a reliable way to track O since women with PCOS can get multiple estrogen surges in a cycle and in turn multiple patches of fertile CM ( watery or egg white.) Because of the OPKS and the pain you have been having hopefully it means O is coming soon. It's great that you are temping- that is best way to track everything.
