Acupuncture and Medicinal Herb success stories please?

Hi Ladies,

I am really contemplating trying acupuncture to combat the fertility issues i am having with my pcos.

I was wondering if there were any success stories with any ladies on this site and if so would you please share for all of us woman who are deciding which route to take in regards to combating our pcos.

in terms of natural i usually take cinamon tea, its good for balancing out the hormones......

well at the moment i am taking met but nothing else herbal..

I bought cinammon tea bags today.. going to try a tea in the morning... what does it taste like? im so bad with teas.. i love a cuppa but i cant stand green teas etc so im hoping this isnt a horrid taste?

How do you take the royal jelly and vitex and how many mg a day do you take?

Out of interest did your doctor advise you to take these and have you had tests to see what issues are with your hormones before you started these or have you just decided to try them?

Im just wondering as i have been diagnosed with PCOS but i dont know directly what the issues are hormones wize.

I am taking 3 royal jelly. I am taking 4 (400mg) of vitex daily. Total of 1600mg daily of vitex. I go my reccomended dose on both bottles. My doc didnt tell me to use any natural medicine. I was dx n did testing n clomid with doc. I asked for a break due to money. Dh n I do not want to go in debt getting pg. I no my hormones r messed up. I am clomid resistant. I do not ovulate at all. I just heard good things about vitex and decided to give it a shot. So far I love it. I feel good almost every day which is accomplishment. Royal jelly I think gives me more energy. I on cd33. I think I might have ovulated on cd 29. I am hoping for a BFP but will be happy to get af on my own.

My friend TTC for 6 yrs. She got into a wreck so she was in alot of pain. she went for acupuncture. the lady asked her if she had any other issues she wanted to work on while she was there so my friend mentioned wanting a baby. 3 mths later she was pregnant with her son. less than 3 yrs later got a pregnant with her DD.

I started acupuncture last week. My last period was early February, so I am probably around day 50 of my cycle. Started spotting two days after my treatment. Went in for another treatment today, and started my period three hours later. Incredible. i"m also on metformin and the PCOS Insulite program.
I've had two iuis, clomid, menopur...but am deciding to go with acupuncture for now.

After ovulating on all 4 rounds of clomid with perfect cycles and not getting that BFP, i added acupuncture on my 5th and got pregnant. I did 2 treatments that month, one during my period and the other on the day of ovulation. I think it did the trick for me, i personally think its worth a try.

definately look into licorice and peony root. both herbs are known to lower testosterone levels and have shown great results in women who have elevated testosterone levels.
