    Default Passing on to the little ones?

    Asking just out of curosity... I have no plans for marriage for atleast a couple of years... so far from TTC. Just wanted to kno will the kid I ll be bearing carry genetic predisposition for PCOS? If yes, is there any way any to prevent the little one's health to be lke ours?

    It's possible to pass it on but you don't always do. I don't think there is any way to prevent PCOS since it's a hormone disorder, or maybe they haven't figured out HOW to solve it yet?

    One of the reason I worried about having a daughter is that I could pass it to her. I actually got mine from my father. Both of his sisters have it and hes a carrier. one of my half sisters also has it. one does not.

    stormy is right, alot of the time it comes from the fathers side.. in my case i got it from both! With 7 aunts and uncles only one female cousin has PCOS yet 2 others have had hysterectomys for various reasons in their 30s.

    CD 1 5-9-13 - U/S Shows “string of pearls” as always this early on!
    Femara 10mg started 5-11 for cd 3-7
