Started back on yasminelle a few days ago and since then I've been feeling really down. Is it possible the pill could be causing it?

Started back on yasminelle a few days ago and since then I've been feeling really down. Is it possible the pill could be causing it?
Any BC can cause emotional symptoms. If it's bearable, I would suggest trying to stick it out for a while and see if it resolves on its own when your body gets used to the hormones. If it's really bad though, or if it doesn't get better, you might have to try another brand. If you tend towards depression anyway, then it's possible that any BC will make it that bad though.

Thanks PetiteFlower. I've been on it before and it hasn't had this effect though I suppose your body can react to differently to things over the years.

Panic attack free and med free for 4 years now since using The Linden Method. Had been having 4 panics attacks a day prior to this, even when on meds!
