I am considering RNY and attending a seminar tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia or with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance company? Thanks
I hope all went well. I had RNY 8/3/2004 and have done well. I maintain within 5-10lbs of goal. It also got rid of my diabetes, IR, infertility & sleep apnea. My only issue now aside from sugar sensitivity is dental...since surgery and 2 kids my teeth have lost a lot of strength. My dentist calls it demineralization. I didn't supplement my just calcium early out and am now paying the price with lots of root canals.
