My dr said sometimes having a baby throws your body into normal mode so she's already trying to put me on bcps. I was like I'm not havving sex anytime soon...still healing up!

Thanks ladies!!! I am truly VERY excited!! I BF for 2 weeks and that was it. I had my first pp cycle on March 10 and according to my OB nursing book, that was in the normal range. I would NEVER have thought that pregnancy would reset my system and I would have a 28ish day cycle!!

Prayingforbfp- Thats how I was for the first 6 weeks pp. I had a 2nd degree tear that the suture came out at 5 days pp and it SUCKED! That is a pain I would never like to feel again! At my 6wpp appt my OB was asking about BCP and I was like I have a hard time going back on BC when it was so hard to get pregnant. Do I want to get pg right away? I prefer not but if I do, I would be ecstatic.

I had my labs drawn Friday afternoon and havent heard the results. I figured I'd have to wait over the weekend but that's ok. ***Stick. baby stick!!!***

That is awesome! Same thing happened to me but I got pregnant again when DS#1 was 9 months. I just assumed since I had such a hard time getting pregnant the first time that I would have trouble again...umm nope! My boys are 17 months apart! #3 was just like #1 though...hard to conceive so it is different for everyone! Congrats

Congrats! I have "Irish twins", too. It took me 3 years to get pregnant with DS and 3 months to get pregnant with DD!! LOL. The nice thing about having them close is that you won't have time to obsess over this pregnancy the way we all do over our first. It will literally fly by.

It is hard having them so close together, but I think it is hard no matter what the spacing is when you add another sibling.
