dong quai and vitex

hi ladies,

I have decided that i am going to start dong quai and vitex ... i have just looked online holland and barrett and wanted to know if i should take a doesage of 100mg vitex or 400mg? And combined with the dong quai is a doseage of 530mg (thats the only doseage they stock) i also want to buy a b complex vitamin to take alongside..
will this all be ok together?

Answers ASAP if possible as im going shopping with my friend early tomorrow and am aiming to get it then.

I'm on vitex and just received my dong quai, but i've had cramping on my right side like I ovulated, from being on vitex, so I'm holding off on the dong quai until i know for sure since it can cause uterine contractions. But i will be taking it if i'm not pregnant, and no af shows

From my understanding Dong Quai causes contractions and should not be taken your whole cycle. It is also called Angelica and will cause abortions. Here is a link: http://www.sisterzeus.com/Angelic.htm
