Anyone have postpartum thyroiditis?

I have been diagnosed with this right after my baby was born- then thyroid went back to normal and now baby is 9 months old and my thyroid is in the hyper state again- it sucks! I am horribly anxious and can't seem to find anyone who has gone through this!

I just saw your post and I hope everything is going ok. I am 6 months post partum and about 2 months ago I started having anxiety issues. It turned into the occasional panic attack. This is sooo unlike me. It was the worst feeling ever. I have never had any issues with anxiety. I went to my ob and he made me think I had just developed anxiety because I couldn't handle having two kids. I finally called my endo's office and while I didn't speak with her she sent me a script for bloodwork. I thought she would just test my hormones but then I saw she ordered my thyroid checked. I thought since she checked it 6 wks post partum she wouldn't need to do it again. Then I started looking up post partum thyroiditis and this totally sounds like me! I am waiting for the results of my bloodwork but I am actually hoping this is what I have. At least it will give me answers and hope that it will pass in a few months.
How are you feeling? Have things leveled out?
