Default Higher blood sugar levels and higher a1c

What is the best way to level out one's blood sugar even if diet and exercise don't always work, or rather, along with diet and exercise? Would I need insulin?

There are so many things that play into blood sugar levels, diet and exercise are only part of it. Stress and pain can make it shoot up. So if your stressed maybe try some type of relaxation. Also, cinnamon and apple cider vinegar, tend to lower blood sugar too. Depending on how high your sugar levels are a doctor would probably try metformin or something like it, before giving insulin.
