look into low gi or paleo, i've found the combo of these two the best for me.First symptoms in '99 (age 13), dx in '05. Diane35 2 yrs & Met500 mg 1/2 yr. No AF from '08. Full-house syndrome. May '13: Vit D + Met 1000 mg. June '13: Duphaston. Mid-June: AF is here! Goals: manage PCOS & its symptoms with organic & whole low-gi eating, daily exercise & nat. remedies. My blog Hidden Content and fav PCOS-web: Hidden Content . I've decided the only thing standing in my way of managing PCOS is my will power.

I second the suggestion of a Low Glycemic Index diet! A quick Goggle search will bring up tons of resources, and I also purchased a couple of books from Amazon that helped give menu planning ideas and substitution suggestions.Me 35+DH 34 Hidden Content DS Sept '07 + DS May '13

I would go low GI and a diet like Paleo or Weight Watchers that emphasizes balanced nutrition, healthy food choices, and, if you have a lot of weight to lose, portion control.

Low GI diet works! Weight watcher not so much because your supposed to stay away from carbs and it didn't work for me at all:/
