    Default Clomid in Mexico

I was shopping for a better price then the $55.00 for 5 pills of Clomid or $26.00 for 5 of the generic brand. So I started looking on the internet and found a Mexican Pharmacy that sold a box of 30 pills at 50 mg for $35.00. I thought that is a great deal. I live in Del Rio, Texas which borders with Cd. Acuña, Mexico so I decided to go. I was stunned when the girl at the counter told me $17.00. I even asked her to check if I had gotten the Mexican name (Omifin) correct and if she could look in drugstore reference if that was in fact the one I needed. She said yes. So if anyone has the ability to go to Mexico the pills are definitely cheaper. Just wanted to share my experience.
I will post this on TTC too.

I was thinking about going to Acuna as well. Any suggestions? Do you need an RX?

I just bought my clomid at walmart pharmacy of coarse it was a generic and I only paid nine dollars for five pills.
Maybe it is cheaper here in Florida.

I would be seriously apprehensive of taking meds from other countries. The main reason is because the drugs that we take here in the US are strictly scrutinized by the FDA. If it doesn't pass the FDA standards, then it's not acceptable in their eyes for humans to take.
Who knows what kind of harm Mexican, Canadian, or other foreign meds can cause in your bodies.

    Just a thought.

I live in CANADA, and clomid is $83.00 for 12 pills of 50mgs (100mgs).
Our medication here is tested the same as it is there in the USA, so its wrong of you to think that our medication would be toxic to your bodies!

All medication is tested before it's put on the shelves, regardless of what country its from!

Yeah, the FDA NEVER approves a med that kills or causes problems. Sure

    OK. Everyone please ease up.
I'm just wanting people to be cautious of where they buy their meds. Unless your doctor is prescribing or advising you to buy meds from other countries other than your native country, then I wouldn't suggest doing it.

But if you have your heart set on it, PLEASE do research.
    That's all I'm saying.

Not being a native of Canada, I don't know what rigorous tests the Canadian government puts their drugs through. Nor do I know what the Mexican government does. Therefore, being an American, I'd be apprehensive about buying meds from those countries.

I'd hate to think that people may be hurting themselves simply to get cheap meds, you know?

    Default well....

The only reason I was considering buying clomid from Mexico is bc my insurance doesn't cover fertility stuff and my doctor won't prescribe it....I could care less how much it costs.
