I think that is a wonderful idea. You can count me in.
Hi all! It's been a while since I posted to the SoulCysters forums. I managed to publish one hard-copy edition of PCOS Today Magazine, and tried to keep the website going, but I at times felt like I was banging my head on my desk. Then, I try to log back into SoulCysters, and can't for the life of me remember my password. SO, here I am under a new handle (PCOS Publisher).
I didn't realize there was still SO MUCH interest in a PCOS publication! Somehow, my former domain (pcostodaymagazine.net) got bought out from under me, and yes, it now points to a poker site. So silly! I guess at this point I need to go back and read over the recent posts and see what everyone's interests still are.
Here's the hard part about publishing in such a niche area (PCOS)...it takes advertising revenue and constant content (i.e. articles, etc.) to keep it going. I'd like any PCOS publication to benefit from being a communal effort. What's relevant right now in PCOS? What do readers want to read about? Do we really want a HARD COPY version too? Story ideas? ANYONE HAVE AD SALES or EDITORIAL experience???
I'd love to hear from all of you. You can e-mail me at linda.m.harvey@gmail.com, leave me a post here, or e-mail at pcosstories@gmail.com.
I'm presently in the process of writing a book for teenage girls about PCOS. I need more stories from ADULT women about their experience in discovering they had the disorder, and what they've learned from it. Please e-mail me at the pcosstories@gmail.com addy if you're willing to share. Names will be kept confidential.
I look forward to hearing from you!!!! === Linda
I am new to PCOS but would love to subscribe to a magazine that covers all aspects of PCOS: socially, emotionally, physically. Please let me know.....
Hi everyone. Wanted to post an update. The site for PCOS Magazine is up and running. I'll be creating a "community" page here soon. Information about subscribing to both a digital version of the magazine, as well as a hard-copy format, will be up once the magazine is ready to hit the proverbial stands.
In the meantime, check out the blog. Right now I'm chronicling my first experiences with Byetta.
If you are aware of any PCOS research studies, let me know. I'm contacting study investigators to get them to share their information with the magazine.
Any suggestions are appreciated! Hope to see you on the site soon!

Guess the blog address would help.
It can be reached via the PCOS Magazine site (the link is in my signature).
I'd post the URL, but the forum doesn't let anyone post them until 15 forum posts have been made.
Thanks,
Linda

Check out articles from Angela Grassi, Monika Woolsey, Dr. Gretchen Kubacky, Melanie VanDerveer, Suzy Giroux Reyes, Sasha Ottey, and more!
Leave your comments...we'd love to hear them. If you're interested in contributing articles or have a background in advertising....again, we'd love to hear from you!!!
