    Default ENLARGED UTERUS

Hi all. Just curious. I just got a call from my gyno. He got the results of my last ultrasound in and told me I have an enlarged uterus. He's not sure what the cause is. Have any of you been diagnosed with this and if so what are the ramifications if any?

I have the opposite problem...an abnormally small uterus...I am curious to see if other PCOS women have had abnormal sized uterus.

I'm curious as well. I have never been told I had this before. This is a new condition for me in the ongoing PCOS saga. Anyone else out there have an abnormal uterus???

LOL gypsy, cause, during my last physical, my dr, while doing the internal... asked me..." where's your uterus?" I lifted my head up "What?" I asked in disbelief...he asked me again.. "where's your uterus?" To the best of my recollection, it should have been right there! I responded: "don't tell me I left it in the box on top of the fridge again...WHAT DO YOU MEAN< WHERE"S MY UTERUS?!?!"...while still poking and prodding, he said, "oh, there it is!!!" To this day, that worries me!!!

LOL...I would have killed my doc if he asked me where my uterus was...sometimes I wonder about these people. I had my left ovary removed a few years back and last year I went in for my yearly ultrasound. When I asked her how everything looked she told me fine both of my ovaries and uterus look good...BOTH!?!?!? I told her I had it out years ago but she swore to me it was still in there. Turns out it was just a shadow but makes you wonder do these people really know what they are seeing??

    Wink

I've had that "Where's your uterus?" question before! I was TTC at the time, and it wasn't very funny then, but I chuckle now. "In a box on top of the fridge" INDEED! LOL! I like your sense of humor, lady!

Anyway, turns out, mine is there after all, it's just "tipped". Backwards, apparently. Not totally rare, but not exactly "normal", either, whatever "normal" means.
