Thread: Pregnancy loss mod.

    Unhappy Pregnancy loss mod.

I am giving up my place as mod. I am the only active one in this forum so I wanted to give you ladies a heads up. I am going to post in Ask Kat that I am giving it up so if any of you who would like to mod here can reply.

I will still post occassionally and lurk but this is not the same SC I came to several years ago. Nothing against any of you ladies, its just other parts of the board that just make me feel sick sometimes.

My heart goes out to you all and I wish we had never lost our babes. I wish you all well and I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

    Jessica,
I'm sorry to see that you aren't happy around the board as you might have been in the past, and this particular section isn't for social and cheerful purposes, so it's not like the other areas where we try to be buddies and pal around. So basically I understand what you're saying. I hope you will keep an eye on us and come back to let us know (here in this forum) how things are going for you. It really helps some of us to look ahead when we can see moms like you going forward with your family and your own way of coping.

I would be happy to moderate or be one of a few moderators here, though obviously this forum isn't as prone to problems as many others. I check in at least every two or three days, even with the baby now, and even when I don't post.

I will always remember you and Dallas and hope that you and your family are truly as happy as you can be.

Sheri should definitely be a mod. I think there was a discussion about it a while back, so I know I'm not the only one who thinks so

    Default Thanks, Hayles!

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I would love to be mod, but I don't think I'm ready to mod THIS forum yet! I'm still reeling from my loss, and I feel like I don't have much advice to give newbies. I have no answers yet to my own questions.

I would be more than happy to help you out, Sheri, however necessary. This is the most important forum on SC for me.

But I promise, Hayles, when I DO have advice, you won't ever be able to shut me up!

Thanks, everybody, for the vote of confidence!

I agree with Viv that she is still going through some pretty intense times and should focus on healing for a while. I've got a brand new baby to keep me from getting too down, though believe me, my grief is still with me! My point is that I feel ready to read this kind of stuff often without having a breakdown, and earlier in the process, I would have bawled constantly and really gotten low while reading posts here (and I did). That makes it a good time for me to be a moderator and still a bad time for Viv while she needs the chance to have breaks from bad news and sad stories whenever she's feeling the need. I think she'd be wonderful when the time feels right for her! Advice from someone who has been through so much is very valuable!

I agree w/ Sheri. Viv, you always have some great advice & comforting words but I thought it was a little too soon for you since you're still grieving. I still have those days when I just can't post in this forum b/c every post makes me cry
