    Default Help...I'm resceding.

OK, I'm back with a hair loss question. This time I'm really scared.

Earlier this evening, I felt a sore spot on my forehead hairline. Ran to the bathroom, lifted up my bangs, and noticed that I have started to rescede (sp?). I am freaking out.

And I've seen other ladies' post about sometimes when hair grows back in, that it is a strange coarseness like a pubic hair. I think I'm seeing some of that too.

And...I JUST saw my regular doctor on Monday and hadn't noticed this to ask her about it. Crap. But it's really my OB/GYN that I should be talking with. Not sure how to approach it, since my next appointment isn't until August/September.

Any of you have any words of wisdom...or maybe just comfort? I've always had thin and fine hair, but I'm just so scared it's going to get worse. Need to see my hairdresser for a cut, and get his advice. He knows about the PCOS, and said he'd let me know if I was thinning. I haven't had a haircut since before I delivered in January. So much for enjoying the pregnancy hair (and 2 months of post-pregnancy.)

    Hi

I have the feeling my hair is "thinning". It's always been fine hair, but now when I run my fingers through it there doesn't seem to be as much there. I was taking Diane and then swapped to Yasmin and now back on Diane as facial hair got worse. I think it may have something to do with the stint on Yasmin. the right side of my head is worse than the left side. I am absolutely freaking about about losing my hair. It would be the worst side effect of PCOS I could imagine.
