Hello everyone!
My name is Viki, I am 21 (22 in May) married to my best friend and Hero Chris (25). We have been together for 6yrs and married almost 4yrs. I am a SAHM (currently helping out with the EMTs locally) and he is a FireFighter EMT-Basic.We have 3 sons. Dillion, 4 yrs 5 months, Dakota 2 yrs 3 months, and our lil angel A. Michael (born into Heaven sleeping on 03/25/04). We live out in the country in Southwest, Ohio. We have many pets here.
MY HISTORY
We have been TTC #4 for 13 months and counting. We knew there was something wrong with one of us when it took us 12 months to get pg with our first, 14 months for our second, and 11 months with our third. Our First and third children were not planned, but happened (best surprise of my life). I seen many Drs over the years to see if something was wrong with my AF, ability to get pg ect. All of the Drs (there was 8 of them) told me there was nothing wrong. I had seen on in July 2004 and she informed me there was "NO way I could have PCOS as I was way to young to have it" (she did not do any testing). I then found another Dr (Oct 2004) and ask her to please do the testing. After I told her why I suspected PCOS, she agreed there was something wrong. We done the testing in November 2004. On December 8 2004 the Dr personally called me and she said "please sit down" "I have seen your test results and I have seen and herad what you have to say. I know for a fact no doubt about it..... You have PCOS. You are a textbook case. I will phone in some meds to get you started." I hung up shocked. Finally I had an answer!!!! So then we started the 1500mg Metformin (daily), pre nate vitamins, charting, and seeing her every 3 months. As of June 2 2005 we are going back in to be started on Clomid to help with getting pg with # 4. I am happy yet scared. I have heard a lot of bad stories on how Clomid makes you feel while taking it. I am however noe noticing an annovulatory pattern on my charts. I have not Oed since Jan 2005.
I hope to get to talk to you all more. I am so happy that I found a spot where I know I am "normal". It is such a great feeling to know that everyone here knows exactly what I am talking about and all my fears.
