Unhappy Please help in prayer for DH's Grandmother ...

DH's grandmother is not doing so well health-wise. She has become very weak and from what we know, it seems she is extremely low on iron and calcium, plus has a blocked GI tract. She is also the last surviving grandparent of DH.

Please help DH and I in prayer and positive thoughts for her to make a strong and healthy recovery.

I am even going to start a candle vigil and pray to the Lord and Lady (I'm Pagan), for her. I fell in love with her the moment I first met her many years ago. She's such a kind, caring and very busy lady! She is just so wonderful and funny too! We even share the same birthday!

She is a mother of 8 (plus 8 SIL/DILs) ... She is the grandmother of 28! (7 of these grandchildren are ILs) ... she is also the Great-Grandma of 20!

Thank you all soooo very much!

May the Goddess Bless you all!

    Blessed Be

Thanks sooo much Jashobeam! It really means alot! I will definitely keep you all updated! I am hoping to go and see her on Tuesday. I guess it's serious enough that her son that lives in Phoenix, Arizona flew in to help care for her. It's really scary right now ...

Corrie, my prayers and thought go out to you for this exceptional woman, you and DH! "You came before this cyster's DH grandmother to give life, and have it more abundantly. Your Word says that what we bind on earth will be bound in Heaven. I declare ALL sickness and disease to flee from her body, mind, and soul, as You give her and her physicians the capability and treatment to her with Your guiding hand upon them all the way through. I pray for a strong and healthy recovery for such a matriarch of a woman you have blessed here on earth and made her a blessing to others.
Amne, blessed be PR. Thinking of you Yes, please keep us updated

Lord Jesus, we just lift this woman up to you, and ask that you would heal her body, Lord- that every form of sickness would be eradicated from her body in your name! We pray that she will have a full recovery and that you would protect her with your mighty hand. In your precious name- Amen.
Make sure and let us know what happens!

    Default Update on Gram H

Well we got an update the other day ... she is still pretty weak, but she has gotten up and outta bed bit more. She has eaten and had lots more fluids then before as well. From what we can decipher, it seems to be that she is extremely low on Iron and Calcium.

Thanks everyone for all the thoughts and prayers it means so much to us!

    Blessings Always

Thank you to everyone during this scary time!

DH and I went and saw her yesterday ... She was in good spirits and when asked how she is doing, she corrects herself when she says "fine", cause well she's not fine. She will then say that each day gets abit better. She is still pretty weak, drinking more fluids and eating a bit more than before and it may take her awhile to get back on track and to the vibrant woman we all know her as. But that's OK as long as it's a strong steady recovery.

She currently has a someone that comes in to clean twice a month, but the kids (DH's dad and aunts/uncles), are thinking about having the person come in once a week instead, because she ahs always loved keeping a clean house and she can't quite do that anymore and it upsets her.

I told her that if there was anything taht she needs, say milk and bread from the grocery store to to drop off some stuff at the postal office, to give me a call because she's about a 10-15 minute walk from us currently and I will come right over.

Personally I think it would be nice if the grandkids could do alittle more to help out if they can. Well wishes, calls and cards are all good, but visits are even better!

Again, thank you to everyone! I am sure there will be another update real soon, as she has a doctors appt today sometime.

    Blessings Always

I don't come onto the site often, I usually never have time, butI found a small portion of time this morning ...

I would like to thank all of you wonderful cysters who have helped in prayer for my Grandma. It means alot to Cor and I and it means alot to my Grandma to know many people were thinking about her and praying for her.

She is very slowly, but steadily getting better. Her kids, (my dad and his siblings), have worked out a plan to help her out a bit more for the next few months as she gains her strength back. She also had a house maid that comes in once a week to help clean up the palce. Cor and I are going to try to help out if she needs it.

Again, thanks, it means the world!
