    Default Hair loss on MEt

I have always had hair loss on and off from pcos. I started on met a few months ago and my hair loss has been alot worse. Has anyone else experienced this? It has regulated my cycles but my acne has been worse as well. Going to make an appointment with the endo asap. But in the mean time any suggestions appreciated. Does anyone know of any natural therapies that might help?

I've read somewhere that met inhibits the absorption of vit b12 in your body. My hair loss has gotten worse since on met. I take a vit B complex. But I can definitely tell the difference since met has gotten into my system good.

i hope you find a solution. hair loss is not fun!

hmmm . . . since on Met, I actually think my hair loss is less! I lose MUCH less in the shower now. I used to lose an entire handfull, now I lose only a few strands.

I do take a B complex and 1500 mg of Calcium (which helps B12 absorbition). I take the calcium 3 times a day at meals . . . as that is supposed to help absorbition too--the more you take at one time, the less you absorb.
