I took a peek at the site... I'm not too sure. Sounds like a natural alternative for the pills I've been prescribed but can't afford right now (no insurance). I saw the PCOS System is a little more expensive then the IR system, but it adds things to help with acne, high testosterone, etc.

My mother is an RN and I'm having her look into it. She says basically it looks like a natural way to get the help you need.

I am not sure about the claims of "healing PCOS" or "reversing PCOS" but I would honestly be happy to lose weight slowly to decrease some of these symptoms.

Basically, I am thinking of trying it now too! It sounds like a lot of pills to swallow, but I wouldn't mind that so much. And honestly, its a lot cheaper then my Rx meds without Insurance... So... I don't know. I'm definitely thinking about it.

Btw, I did a search on Insulite here on SC and came up with a few threads. Fact is, you never know what's going to work for you until you try it. So I'm thinking about doing it.

Ok, well... I ordered it! Well my Mom did for me. She did the 12 month auto shipment. So I'll let you know how it goes when I get into the system. I'll probably include it all in my blog.

    Roz, this was your post...
I just checked w. my repro endo...He told me it was a no go. That the pills really won't do much and that they are not specific enough (whatever that means). So back to the drawing board with me. Thanks cysters for your replies
The reason I'm going to give it is a try is because without insurance to cover my prescription drugs, I can't afford my meds. Buying this system is actually cheaper then my drugs. My Mom is who an RN looked it over and she thinks it may give me some benefit and is certainly better then going without any of my meds! I'm going to give it six months and if I don't feel any benefit from it, I'll have to just cancel the program and get back on really expensive prescription drugs I can't afford.

I am all for anything natural, and while I respect your RE's opinion, I just can't afford all the Rx drugs. For me, I don't see how it could hurt to try it.

I had to stop taking Met because I just couldn't function on it! Living in the bathroom isn't ideal for me. I definitely can use the support this program offers, and I like how on their site the say they ease you into things. They don't expect me at close to 300 pounds to get out and run a couple of miles! It just couldn't happen, even if I wanted to. I have to admit I'm not the most motivated of people, but if I physically felt better, I might be more inclined to get out there and go for a walk! As it is, I just don't have the energy, so I'm hoping this will help. I'll let you know how it goes!

Btw, no baby dust for me just yet! But sprinkling loads your way!!!

Question How did it turn out?

Do you have an update on how it worked out? I'm curious.
