when should clomid be taken? what times of the cycle?

different women take it at different times according to what I have been reading...days 5-9 after period starts, days 2-6 after AF starts, 3-7, depends on what the doc recommends

I took it days 3-7, and I took it at night before I went to bed.

has anyone been on clomid 50mg and not got period and tested neg ?

im hoping to get period so i can take 2nd lot of clomid

hi all me again as you know my last period was 24th aug till 30th then took clomid on days 2/6 took 2 preg tests last week both neg but today 8th oct ive had a bleed for about 10 mins and now nothing anyone else been like that ?? getting a little worryed now but am seeing my gp tues

went to see dr who said to test again if its neg ( it was) im to start duphaston to bring on a bleed ( was given provera last time) im on 10mg one to be taken twice a day for 14 days then take clomid on day 2/6 ondering if to take it on day 5/9 as ive seen so many people get preg on 5/9 what do you think?

My doc had me taking clomid days 5-9 but now switched me to 3-7. She told me the latter is more successful... i wonder then why she didn't tell me that to begin with. I was up to 150 mg w/ no luck. but now that I started metformin she is only having me take 100. I hope she is right!!!!

yer hope shes right my dr never told me to take it at 5/9 but my gyno said to take it from day 2/6
i did and nothing happend not even a period so im gonna do it of my own back and try 5/9
