    Question Brussel Sprouts

I grew them this year, and have no idea how to cook them? I've only cooked the frozen kind...is it the same?

you cook them the same way you would the frozen by boiling them, fresh ones though I boil longer because the frozen ones have been blanched prior to freezing. They are especially tasty if you use a chicken or beef boiullion cube in the water, they need a lot of season, ie salt, because they absorb it, just like greens or spinach, I think they need salt to taste better, or you could use a piece of smoked turkey in the water.

This is my favorite brussel sprout recipe, first I steam them and then in a skillet, I melt butter and then stir in some dijon mustard and mustard seed, then add the brussel sprouts and stir around for a few minutes. Yummy!

That sounds yummy too! I usually just use a lemon pepper spice w/ my sprouts....but these recipes sound better!
