Why can't I buy a ribbon?!

I have enough points for one, but I keep getting a message telling me I don't!
What the heck am I doing wrong???

Is it reputation points? I don't have a lot of those, but I have enough in my 'bank'!

You have to make sure that they are "in your pocket", if you go to the bank screen it will tell you how much you have "in the bank" and in your pocket. I just gave ya some spending money, so now you can buy the ribbon!! Happy spending!
