I can recommend NYU for IVF. They have an efficient office and the doctors are great.
Besides a great record for IVF they do clomid, injectables.. whatever protocal they thing will work. I see Dr. Nicole Noyes there. She is VERY smart.

I am seeing Caryn Selick. I have been seeing her for 8 years now and I like her very much. She also has an outstanding nurse that works with her named Rebecca who I love.

Mrspabs - does she make a big issue about weight cause the only thing that I like about my RE is that he doesn't put me down for being overweight. Plus he doesn't pressure me into losing it.

I 5'4" and I weigh 150 lbs, I wear a 10/12. I do not consider myself to be significatnly overweight. I used to see an RE named Martin Keltz, who told me that I needed to drop 30 lbs. I got so mad that I switched to Dr Selick. I didn't mention anything about Dr Keltz, but I told her once that I was trying to loose weight. She looked at me like I was crazy. She was like, you are trying to get pregnant and you are dieting???

In short, I do not think she will harp on the weight issue.

If you are interested in Dr. Selck, you might as well call and make an appt, it might be 6 weeks till your first appt.

    Dr Caryn Selick
    (212) 683-0090

I do not know her hours for sure. When we go for consultations, she seems to be there all day, but when we go for procedures such as sonograms or IUIs we go between 8 and 9am.

She uses a lab called repro-lab next door. Thats where they collect the semen for the IUI and do a "sperm wash". This costs $150, they do not take insurance.

Mrspabs - I am going to wait to see how this cycle goes...if it doesn't work then I am going to change and try your doctor.

Thank you for giving me the information!!!

Greeklatina - I haven't really found a good doctor in queens. I have been asking around but to no avail. Where in queens do you live? I live in Flushing.

Brooklyncutie - Can you give me her information? I am willing to call. The only thing is the traveling to Brooklyn.
