? about private messages, read or not read

I checked my sent PM's and it says SENT date and READ date. If it shows it has been read, that means by the recipient, correct?

It's just that it looks like my PM was read on the same day that I sent it, and no reply. I keep wondering if I have offended this person somehow, all I asked was if she knew someone who grew up in the town she lives in. I hate to PM her again as I don't like to be pushy.

So I just wanted to make sure that I understood that correctly, when it says READ and gives the date/time that it was read by the recipient?

Correct... If is says 'read'...that's the time/day the recipient opened and read your PM.
