Default Did anyone exprience major pain before M/C?

I had the most horrible pain last night when i was miscarring, I believe it may have been contractions. Can anyone else remember if pain was severe for them?

Yeah, I had pretty severe labor pains....although I didn't realize it at first (because they were WAY worse then my labor with DD).

I am so sorry you are going through this

I did with my second miscarriage about a month ago. I had severe pain, like contractions and lower back pain. My first miscarriage at 13 weeks was a blighted ovum diagnosed by ultrasound so I had a D&C before the pain and bleeding started. I am so sorry for your loss, I hope you feel better soon and that it goes quickly for you.

i'm very sorry for your loss. many women essentially have labor with their m/c, sad though it is. you can get pain relief by prescription or take ibuprofen or naproxen if you want to. anything that truly alarms you, though, is worth a call to the doctor or nurse to be sure about. i hope it gets easier. I'm sorry to hear of your loss. ((((HUGS))))) I too experienced some of the worst pain I have ever experienced every few min. It was contractions. I'm sure. I eventually passed the baby. The Dr. still did a D&C though.

First let me say that I am sorry about your loss. I too experienced severe pains when I was miscarrying. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced. It all stopped once I passed everything.

I'm sure I am repeating what everyone else is saying, but I did experience labor-type contractions while miscarrying. The pain ended pretty abruptly after everything passed. I have experienced three miscarriages and they have all been different levels pf pain. Thank goodness, I have never had to have a D & C. They just made me keep doing betas until the number went down to zero.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are not alone in your pain.

I had bad pains too, but I was also bleeding. They were like contractions because I timed them about 5 minutes apart. It was weird, but I remember they were horrible. Sorry for your loss and I pray that healing will come to you.

Yes, I had severe cramping throughout the day and it kept getting more & more frequent until it was constant. I had gotten into a lukewarm bath to try to help and the pain eased up, and I had the miscarriage as I was getting out of the bath. I didn't realize I was having contractions until I was talking to my aunt (she is a nurse).

I am so sorry for your loss.
