Default Well I Made It Home With No....

broken arms and legs.... lol in fact didn't fall once

Sweden was excellent no hicups, had some snow when we arrived.... the only problem was my suitcase arrived damaged but thankfully still sealed. It's not worth claiming from the airline as it's about 5 years old and been on every trip so will hopefully pick up a new one in the sales...

I have photos! grab a coffee and take a peep...

    The slideshow pictures are here

and all the pictures are here so you can flick through quicker!

    Enjoy them!

The trip was great, it was nice to get away and spend some time just me and a friend, but also good to just be alone at times..... I spent way too much money!

Thanx! my best one is with Ruldoph, I so wanted to pick that up and bring it home, somehow I don't think SAS would have taken him as hand luggage!

Glad you had a fabulous time, lovely photos, you look so cute, ahh!!

The way airlines treat baggage is disgusting. You know sometimes you look out the window at the airport or on the plane and you see suitcases flying through the air and crashing back down again!

Loved the photos! I watched the entire slide show and now I want to go to Sweden!

Thanks for posting this. The snow, Christmas lights (how did they get so many on those bare trees in Skansen!?) and the unique old buildings put me in the Christmas spirit.

As an art graduate, I enjoyed all the art, both traditional, avant garde and the funky, primitive paintings of the white Persian cats in the hotel lobby. I giggled at the one where the cat was the lady's hair! My hair is white, too and I have the PCOS hair loss. Maybe if it gets bad, I can train a cat to sit on my head like that!

I wondered too about the trees at Skansen as they where so tall....

As for the lady with the cat on her head, I only took that photo as it looked so like me, I swear they painted that picture from me.... mum giggled like crazy at that picture as the likeness is uncanny! The art is forsale in the lobby, and I would have loved to have bought this one!
