Can't add even an itty bitty photo to my signature

Hmmmmmmm... Not only can I still not upload an avatar, I can't seem to get a photo in my signature. I created an itty bitty pic, under the limits of 400 width x 150 height in pixels. Hmmm, actually, now that I look at those requirements, it is a VERTICAL photo that I'm hoping to add (145 width x 263height). I'm guessing that's the problem. Can we only put in horizontal photos now?

I'm all for a limit on photo sizes in signatures, but these seem so teeny tiny. Like a dummy I erased my old one, and I really want to show off my sweet guy.

Can anyone help, or have I perhaps missed an announcement that the size limits might be changed in the future?

I am in the same boat. I wanted to ad a ticker box, a small one from snuggle pie and it won't accept it. Even though I have seen many posters with the same size ticker boxes or sigs that are bigger.

any ideas?

I must have gotten my tickers in before all of the requirments changed because now all I want to do it change my dh's age and I cant even do that. So he is really 33 not 32....just one flippen number.

i believe it is because there is a character limit on the siggys. If you had a long siggy before, it kept it but no new long siggys. I hope that helps. I can explain better if need be.

It is not the character limit of the siggy. For some reason it will not take some peoples photos in the siggy line. All I'm trying to do is change my # of soy months. I can't even get a avatar to work. This is what we get:

miss-meme - try decreasing the size of the Bo picture... that is what is doing it in your case. I knew some updates were done b/c my hot links keep changing names whenever they do updates (so I know when they happen I just never know what gets done). SO I guess since there were people who would crop or re-size their pictures in their siggys, this size limit was placed. I must admit, I like that it wants things smaller... some of those siggys were killer. I hate having to scroll so much just because someone has HUGE pix in their siggys.

But I will help best i can. Shrink it down and see what happens.

I ended up changing my ticker to use the HTML like people on other threads have said.

Still no luck on my avatar. It says that my avatar is updated and shows it in my user cp, but does not show it on the boards.

That's odd, Jessica. I just changed my signature and had no problems. I didn't use HTML or anything like that. I did remove my ticker, but I put in a small photo of Owen and it let me. Mind you, I'm a little afraid to change my profile pic, but I think I'll bite the bullet and give it a shot.

*Edit - hey, it worked. Though the spacing on my signature is wonky. I didn't have that many spaces in it. Hmmmm...

Okay, the sig, while not centred like I'd like, is working fine now, and the av is there.

Try photobucket.com .. upload your pic and just copy and paste the hmtl in you CP User Signature.

Put the img tags around it (or just click the mountain thingy and put the url in there). Then your pic will show up.

FYI, though... I clicked the link and the pic is HUGE! Way too big for a sig.

I still can't change my avatar. Everytime I try it just leaves the ribbon. I guess I'll go look around for that answer.

Sorry Jessica, hope it works soon. I don't have a problem changing anything in my siggy.
