What causes prometrium no to work?

For 2 or 3 months in a row I get AF w/ prometrium.Well this month AF is MIA.I took a hpt and got BFN! What happens? Can anyone explain?

I took Prometrium once and right after I fininished, I happened to give blood, not realizing that you might not get af if you do it. Sure enough no af. That is the only thing I know of from my experience.

Well I haven't gave blood,that's a good thing! Ummmm I don't know why my lining didn't form or what messed up the FSH or LH.....KWIM? I think I have something wrong hormonally.And I am on Met too! You would think by now I would be getting some spotting or something,but not a thing.It is like I am sitting dorment.

I'm on metformin and prometrium and I've been left scratching my head as of late too. I've been on prometrium since August. Every month I've taken the pills as indicated for the first ten days of the month, like clockwork my period has come five or six days after the last pill (day ten). The last two months, AF came before I was even finished with the ten days of pills. I'm so confused. Why would I be getting AF before I finished taking the pills? The first strange month I had a very light AF and this past month it was heavier. I'm so confused. Anyone else in this predicament?

Well,at least your getting some spotting!I am getting nothing.I am not preggo.So I have no idea. I wonder if Met could be moving somw hormones around???Maybe we will get straitened out!!! Thanks and I hope you feel better soon!
