Hi, welcome to SC. I would say that as long as you have learned about PCOS and take care of yourself, you shouldnt have to worry. What symptoms were you having that made your dr think you might have PCOS??? THere is alot of great info here on PCOS so look around and were here to help you with any questions and support.

I suggest asking for some blood tests to be done and request and u/s. There can be many other causes for not having a period very often. If your current doc wont run these tests that give an accurate diagnoses of PCOS, maybe you should find another dr. Look for an endocrinologist that knows about PCOS. GL

There are five different types of PCOS, all with different symptoms and problems. They vary from not so bad to oh my god can I get through today. Anyways welcome to Soul Csyters we are happy to have you! This is a great place to have many if not all your questions answered. Have a wonderful day!

I thought you said previously that your period not coming was the only symptom. But, with the cysts and testosterone level, sounds like PCOS. Good luck and like I said before there is a ton of info here and lots of women going through the same thing as you if you need a shoulder.
