    Question clomid

does clomid really cause major mood swings? everything that i've read about it suggest that these should be expected. can anyone please share their personal experience as wed. will be the first time that i will have taken clomid(50mg).

On 50 and 100mg I did not have any s/e, but I did not O either. I just finished my last pill on Sat at 150mg and I had hot flashes and was a little weepy, but that was it. Good luck with the clomid.

I do have pretty bad mood swings on higher doses of clomid. It feels almost like being on provera for me. I cry more easily and it seems that I have much less patience. I am generally a very calm, easy going person, so for me it is a noticable difference. I've heard several people say that they didn't experience mood swings on clomid before, so it's not a certainty that you will. Hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones! Good luck and babydust!

I to had no s/e from 50mg 100mg- but I had major s/e from the 150mg. But if it works it will be well worth the s/e. Mostly tearing up over nothing, mood swings and 1 hot flash. Good luck!

This is my first month on Clomid and tonight I took the last of the 50mg pills prescribed. Overall I didn't notice much in the way of s/e then again with PCOS symtoms over the years and trying different herbal therapies over the past year its hard for me to tell what's normal. I did get weepy and had a little cry tonight but it felt more like a natural release of my emotions and frustrations over infertility in general than caused by hormonal outburst.
